Good quite area to camp ,I was there 9-29-25,there was only 1 more camper there,quite at night ,only heard owls,bathroom and showers was clean and easily accessible
Big fan. Feels remote but close to everything. Primitive camping loop (Dogwood) is well maintained, clean, accessible, and decent cell coverage. Favorite spot is 30. Camp hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure a good stay.
We had a quick stopover here their final weekend of the season. We were the only campers on our loop aside from the camp host. The kids loved the space and the nature. Super easy to back our big rig into. We will absolutely be back.
Amazing lake with beach. Seems historic because they don't make this kind of stone work anymore. Campground and boat ramp too.
Nature lovers rejoice! Large sites tucked into forest land. Herds of deer, beautiful box turtles (drive slow) and more bird species than you can name. Staff are friendly and quick to deliver ice and wood. Only snafu was bathrooms closed, 4 of 7 days and showers closed 7 days during my stay. Supposed painter issue. Communication was poor but that is on the management company FINE. Beautiful place for peace and quiet and being in nature. Really hard to find places like this anymore.
