Timberline Cafe, RV Park & laundromat

Stopped in for breakfast. We were told breakfast has ended. I said I thought breakfast ended at 11:00 am, it was 10:45. She said the breakfast cook was getting ready to leave so they stopped breakfast early. So we left and drove to Kamiah (20 min) and had a great breakfast. We don't really like going to Timberline anyway because service is usually slow and the food is subpar, but its the only restaurant in town.

I had a double burger with all the fixings, but without the bun and it was delicious! The meat was so tender and flavorful and everything else on it was just the best. The service was excellent, too.

I would like to share that my step brothers birthday today! Our family drove out to this establishment this morning to enjoy a breakfast and good conversation. After waiting for 30 minutes for them to open we fully expected to be greeted with kindness and hospitality. The reality we encountered was the furthest thing from our expectation. When the door was opened, granted it was on time. Our party was greeted with a snide and nasty comment making us feel like we had inconvenienced them in some way. We were told that they should have been notified of such a large group to make preparations, as well as saying "we'll see what we can do". We had a great meal and friendly waitress and cook!! Absolutely wonderful. We had breakfast before we set up camp at deyo reservoir. Fantastic breakfast and the prices are excellent. My friend had his seven year old son with him. He asked for a waffle, but the cook told us the waffle maker was not working, asked if a pancake would be alright, he said yes. So she comes back with a mickey mouse shaped pancake, with whipped cream and chocolate chips on it!! How kind to do that. The next day, we went in for a Sunday dinner. The waitress was so amazing, they had just served about 25 people, all at once!! She was telling us about it. And she was smiling and pleasant and so very polite. Need more young people like her.
