Timber Lodge

There were 11 of us, renting 3 cabins. All 3 were very nice, cozy and had everything we needed. The location of this lodge was perfect for our UTV trip, close to the trails, restaurants & stores. The lodge itself had just about everything available for our use, such as wood for the fire pit, toys, a paddleboat, canoe, etc. We will be back next summer. Nicole could not have been more accommodating.

Gorgeous location and amazing hosts! Tony and his wife were so thoughtful, made for an amazing family vacation. The kids had tons of fun swimming in the lake , playing on the beach and going out in the paddle boat. Not far from Copper Falls state park so we had some great hikes too!

We stayed in the bear cabin (#2) and had such a lovely experience! Two adults and two kids. The hosts, Tony and Nicole were welcoming and excellent hosts. Beautiful lake with kayaks, paddle boats, and every size of life jacket to use. Lovely swimming with a floating dock to swim out to. Campfire and wood provided! Grill as well as a full kitchen with dishes and utensils. Every detail was thought of including clothes livns for wet swim suits and towels, a night light in the bathroom, cribbage board and magazines inside, and bug spray if needed. (although the mosquitoes weren't bad) Close to Copper Falls and Big Bay State parks to! We absolutely plan to return and highly recommend!

Nice little cabins on a beautiful lake, amazing sunsets and located in the heart of the north woods. Had a great experience here and will definitely return! Less than an hour drive from 6+ waterfalls and the Upper Peninsula!

Beautiful setting on Gordon Lake, quiet and peaceful. Great place to unplug and have quality family time. The kids loved swimming and boating. They played in the woods and we explored the nearby national forest. Five minutes away is the little town of Glidden with some small restaurants and convenience stores that carry groceries and necessities in case you forgot anything. Paddleboats and kayaks are free for guests. Life jackets are available. Under new ownership since 2015, the cabins and grounds are receiving updates and improvements. There is no longer a restaurant or bar on site.
