Tiana Beach Inn

This was our second time staying here, and at this point it truly feels like visiting family. The husband and wife staff are always friendly, welcoming, and make you feel special from the moment you arrive. A special shout-out to Daniela, the cleaning girl — she is incredibly helpful, reliable, and keeps everything spotless. We also love the coffee in the rooms, it’s surprisingly delicious and such a nice touch every morning. The only small downside is that the rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but honestly, you’re so close to the beach that you barely spend time inside anyway. Between the location and the service, it’s absolutely worth it. The owner is kind, attentive, and offers excellent service every time. I looked at the reviews of Tiana Beach Inn on Trip Advisor and I guess I should have looked closer, although it's hard to see dust in a photo. The price of the stay was affordable which definitely influenced my decision, but you do get what you pay for. The accommodations resembled an efficiency (small refrigerator, microwave, double hot plate {right next to the sink on the counter}, coffee maker, cupboards with dishes, etc.) The bed was ok if you are exhausted from traveling and are only staying one night. The bathroom door does not close all the way and if you're a guy, the toilet seat does not stay up. While I could tell the basics had been cleaned, the baseboards and the lamps had lots of dust on them. I could see that they changed a lamp since a cord was still plugged in, but then th

I have been waiting for Book something to ask for my review. I just took the time to find them on my own. Now for my review: The staff here at this small in hidden gem are gonna make you feel at home. I have stayed all up and down the boardwalk and I will not stay anywhere else. I wanted to stay a a second night after going through the Book whatever. And Maria said to save money. Go back to the website. I said no. How much through you. It was $25 more... I paid the extra directly. Why pay more. Because a little extra to people in small business Deserves the extra for Tiana's hospitality. Thank You Tiana motel . I'll be back .

Room was dirty. Also, someone who i assume works for the property attempted to enter our room unannounced. I was in the bathroom and heard my wife say out loud "what are you doimg in here" so I immediately came out to this person walking in our room holding a phone to her ear with a pack of cigarettes totally ignoring our questions. Come to find out she does work for the property and she was trying to check something in the room.. very startling experience. She stated that she knocked but we did not hear anything. She later told us she knocks quiet so not to wake guests... shouldn't you knock loud to not walk in on people?? they were also doing construction above us, so loud banging through the morning hours. We paid for the night we stayed and got a refund for the remaining days but so
