Thunderbird Motel

Have rented rooms from Thunderbird Lodge for a couple years. The owners Miss Rae and Mr Yogesh are genuinely great folks. The rooms are always clean and neat have never had an issue with a room or anyone that is renting a room or on the property any time....Their rates are always reasonable and they ALWAYS go above and beyond to make sure each and every guest is accommodated.Everything always works great and the water is always hot.I thank Miss Rae and Mr Yogesh for their hospitality and decency....Next time yall good folks pass through Atoka Oklahoma and need a spot to rest stop by Thunderbird Lodge and you will not b disappointed.

I think the noise problem might be common to most hotels/motels along this street as the truck traffic roars through town. I sleep poorly the night before a fishing tournament but would fall asleep and some truck would step on the gas and wake me up. The room itself was clean and the bed slept good. I was alone and used the two pillows for my preference (so you might want to bring your own pillow). The bathroom was small but adequate. The room cooled down quickly and stayed a good temperature. There is a fridge and a microwave for your use. The coffee pot did not make a decent cup of coffee unless you like if very light. The owners/staff here are very nice and sell soda for 70 cents, I usually don't drink soda but was thirsty after a hot day on the water. They asked me not to take a shower

Clean rooms, space, fridge,microwave, tv,wi fi, convenient location,parking, privacy and nice warm shower, cold ac and hot heaters, closet area, table and chairs, big beds with bedside tables, tile and carpet, smoking rooms or non smoking. Affordable pricing for needs met...

I’ve stayed here while looking for a home. The place is clean & The service is great! I highly recommend right off the highway convenience to the stores in downtown Atoka! & the prices are the best. Affordable and comfortable🥰

My husband and I have stayed here now on 2 occasions and for months at a time not just nightly. It is 1 of only 2 family owned and operated motels in the area and we have stayed at both. The Thunderbird Motel is not only cleaner, nicer and has larger rooms it is also more affordable. The owners are friendly and their customer service is outstanding. I would highly recommend staying at the thunderbird for and on any occasion.
