The hike to the lake is moderate in grade but around 13 miles. After leaving the main trail we saw few people on a Saturday. We did arrive early and by the time we left cars were waiting for spaces.
Definitely worth the long hike up there and back. Hiked on 9-7-24
Wish the campsites were closer to the lake itself but nonetheless still a great spot. Group and site 3 are the most secluded. Site 1 is within direct viewing of whomever is on the privy, FYI. All have room for multiple tents and pretty good tree cover - site 1 having the least of both.
Amazing lake and scenery. The hike is well worth it!
Best camping trip ever!
