Stayed at this motel many times years ago.What the new owners have done Updating is phenomenal !!!! Perfect for my needs while I'm hunting in the area. Extremely reasonable price, who cares about a continental breakfast with stale cereal And old fruit at other hotels that's something I've never wanted or needed. But always had to pay for in the price. Free coffee in the lobby Any time you need. And Peg is incredible with her smile and courteousness !!! Helped me through the reservation process The first time and answered all my annoying questions with graciousness and a smile.

This was a different kind of motel experience, but we enjoyed it. This small motel is being totally revamped and there is no staff per se. Electronic checkin and door code. The room was small but adequate for 2 nights but lacking horizontal surfaces to set things. No fridge or microwave, they may be coming. But the lobby had a full sized that we put our cooler foods in overnight and a very welcomed keureg for coffee. Everything was spotless and new. Location was great for our visit to the medical facilities. Wal-Mart just down the street. Will stay again and hope the rooms are more complete by then. Good luck with the new venture.

My Husband & I are from the West side of the State on Lake Michigan and we were on a Honeymoon/ Birthday Weekend road trip. We stayed at the Motel and came in later at night. We had a great stay and it was quite also a Walmart across the street and very tiny gas station next door. 5/5 recommend a visit. We visited 2 week October 2025, and leaves were starting to change but we’re not looking to be as bright as the west side.

Good location and stay if looking for cheap rooms. Noisy tho, can't sleep peacefully. Walmart is in 2 min distance. Hospital is in 5 min distance. Small room with limited facilities. Water stinks in the bathroom area, don't know why it smells like unclean drainage. They also have separate room for breakfast but nothing other than tea/coffee available mostly.
