Customer Reviews
This was our 2nd time staying at Three Springs. The children loved the cabin & the owner & people who work here are so kind and accommodating. The owner was always very responsive whenever we reached out. It was December so we needed an extra space heater and they quickly brought one over. The bathrooms/bathhouse is always clean & warm. We got a couple bundles of firewood and Billy was so kind to drive them over for us as our vehicle was loaded full. We left our headlights on and needed a jump before we left and he and his lovely wife were kind to help us with that, too! There’s always a picnic table and campfire spot at the cabins and Granna’s cabin even had a water spigot outside. Next time we'd like to explore the hiking trails of this pretty campground in spring or summer. We look forw
The on site hosts, Billy & Tammy are World Class folks. They do not control the booking process but work really hard to please. Very quite area. They are upgrading some areas and adding sites. Gravel road within the campground and sites. Pretty much a 1 lane road into the campground. Only 1 complaint. we scheduled and paid for 3 nights but had to leave 1 day early. We did not receive a credit for the night we didn't stay. We gave the booking folks a 24 hr notice before leaving. We called 3 times and left 2 messages, no response at all. That was disappointing as the contact during booking was very pleasant.
I stayed two nights here over a crisp October weekend (2025), a nice escape just north of Lexington. I was tent camping and not in an RV. The tent sites are nice, nestled under tall shade trees, with three hiking trails and creeks although the creek near my site was dry at the time I was there. Clean bathrooms, the staff was out the week during my time there. It is a convenient spot if you plan to visit the Ark Encounter. A few letdowns kept it from five stars: They ran out of firewood, so plan accordingly. The site and confirmation advertised picnic tables at every tent spot but only one had one (not a deal breaker, but when expecting a table it is disappointing when there is not one), and highway noise crept in at times. The worst part which is not the fault of the park (or it would ha
The campground hosts were very nice. They had only been hosting for three weeks. The campground was clean, quiet and in working condition. The campground provides the essentials for RV camping (electricity and water), plus has free wifi throughout (which was a nice surprise), but there isn’t much to do there for kids (no playground, only a small partial playset; I didn’t have my kids with me on this trip). There are hiking trails but they were off-limits at the time because it was hunting season. I give three stars instead of four or five for two reasons: (1) they charge a 3.5% transaction fee in addition to a flat booking fee and taxes, which really means the actual nightly rate is 3.5% higher than advertised (hidden fee), and (2) the campsite I had was very muddy (with no grass) despite
Beautiful location. Kind owners and employees. Easy reservations and when we needed to change our dates, very accommodating. Close to everything we wanted to do. Easy day trips to the Ark Encounter, the Creation Museum and Cincinnati Zoo. 🙂 We accidentally left a tool at our campsite. Before we even realized it, David called us on the road and offered to mail it to us! So thankful. Highly recommend!
