Three Prong Campground

Long drive on dirt but pretty tame road. Beautiful camp spot but I wish I could have seen it before the fire.

Nice rough campground. Some fire pits available at sites. One toilet located at the entrance. Great place to go spend the weekend or the entire week and ride quads and take in the wildlife. Trailer friendly with no hook ups, but plenty of shade. Keep in mind that there are mountain lions and bears in this area. There is also no trash cans there either.

This ain't your tow a teardrop trailer in with your manly crossover SUV kind of campground. It's a rough, steep drive to get here. The roads up in this area are populated with logging trucks and heavy equipment maintaining the timber growth. Be prepared for competition in finding a camping spot during deer season. The campground is loosely maintained by the forest service. Where they fall short, the hunters that come up do the rest. The campgrounds are kept clean, and there are plenty of downed trees around for firewood. There is one vault toilet near the entrance to the campground. Not much else going on, but there is a beautiful meadow to look at and plenty of wildlife that comes for a visit.
