Incredibly friendly owners. Very clean room, most inexpensive hotel in a 160 mile radius. Great experience, they made us feel like family. Even shared their homemade BBQ dinner with us! Hands down the best place to stay anytime you're near Steamboat Springs, Colorado - especially if you enjoy a rural, easily accessible place to spend a night or two.

Clean, comfortable, fully functional things and space. Comforts of home such as hot coffee, tea readily available was very appreciated. Everything worked. Piano and plants were extra wonderful.

What a great place to stay. We were in the middle of a move and we stayed here the night before we left. Such hospitality is not found anymore. Thank you so much for going out of your way to make us feel welcomed. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are nice and clean. Also they have the cutes little toiletries available.

Horrendous website and booking experience. I wish I had been forewarned! They do not honor their stated policy of a 48-hours cancellation for full refund. If you try to back out of their cumbersome, idiosyncratic reservation system, good luck. Too many calls and too much of a headache trying to secure a legitimate refund. Not a transparent business. So glad we didn't stay here! To set the record straight, the owner’s response is full of falsehoods: I was misled by The Three Bears Lodge “Rooms” webpage, which said, “Please note we have a 48 hr cancellation policy for full refund, we appreciate your business!” There was no mention of a cancellation fee. More than just a great place to stay! The rooms and everything that goes with your overnight stay are already worth the 5 stars, but the owners make it a 6 star place! Great local tips for during your stay. With every question that you have, you can feel the energy coming from them to make your stay as pleasant as possible! Definitely don’t drive to steamboat springs on the way, but stop here!
