The manager is so nice. She gave me a tour of the rooms and they are beautiful. She is attentive, knowledgeable and assisted me in finding a local charging station. It is so nice now with the new rooms. It has a very family vacation vibe now and it’s completely different from what it was like with previous ownership. There was nothing wrong with previous ownership. They’ve just done an upgrade with the new owners. They are continuing to upgrade the rooms as they can, but there is plenty that are done already. My son myself and my grandsons stayed sept 8-11 we were treated vey well , room was clean and all are needs we’re meet. They just bought the place and it needs a lot of updates. But clean ,beds we’re comfortable and frige and a. Bathroom . Easy. Access in and out which was great as I’m handicapped . We would definitely stay again.

My boyfriend and I needed an emergency place to stay due to a vehicle collision. The owner was nice enough to come out in the middle of the night (talking like midnight) and get us checked in. We stayed in the renovated one bedroom room. And it was amazing. It looked great and had such a great vibe to it. And I really liked the view. We were in room 26 so I don’t know if that makes a difference to the view. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely make an effort to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend. The town itself is wonderful. So many people in the community came out to help us last night and truly it’s worth a night stop.

We booked last minute due to unexpected car trouble and the owners were fast to respond and even had a room available. They have been renovating room by room and we had one of the newer ones. It was clean and well stocked with toiletries. The shower was amazing, complete with a heated vent you could switch on, that kept the bathroom nice and toasty. There was an Italian restaurant that delivered food and a gas station across the street for snacks and drinks. Marathon is a cute little town and even though we were having car trouble, we were definitely in the right place at the right time! I definitely recommend staying here! Having recently wrapped up an overnight stay at the motel, this location does not warrant the 4.3 star ranking it has on Google... In short, while it wasn't the worst experience I've ever had, it definitely ranks as one of the more unpleasant stays I've had so far in my life... The good: Staying with my wife in one of the recently renovated rooms, the decor wasn't bad, and the bathroom was decent. The shower is the one redeeming feature about the room, I appreciated its ability to give you control over both the temperature and volume of water being provided, good set up overall for that. The bad: As a bigger guy myself, the standard size toilet was functional but a bit uncomfortable to use. Similar to the comment above, the bed was also not large enough to sleep both my wife and mys
