I have very mixed feelings about this place. I'm a solo young female traveler so I can be a bit picky. The roads are horrendous, no point in having speed bumps when you have a gazillion potholes. Haven't checked out the lake but there is a very nice bike path to walk your dogs behind the campground (it's public). Hazel at the front desk was amazing and helped me extend my stay. And security was great when my neighbors woke me up at 1am. The trees need trimmed I'm scared to look at my roof after hearing huge branches fall on my RV. I'm not sure why they are spending so much on their storage area when the rest of the campground is in despair. I'm not sure who is in charge of cleaning the restrooms but they need to find a new job. They are disgusting. I had to usher a bird out of the bathhous

We stayed here Labor Day weekend. It was just my husband and I. All the sites were very shaded. It was mostly seasonal campers. We were placed in a very small site in between 2 seasonal campers. We did have an issue with one of our neighbors being very noisy all night long (I won’t go into detail). We should have called security right away which was our fault. After talking to management the next day, they were very understanding of our situation and we were able to change sites. The rest of our stay was wonderful! We enjoyed the free mini golf and the pool looked fun and inviting . If you like activities for your kids, and that home town campground feel, this campground is for you!

We have traveled the entire country. About 80% of our stays have been in Thousand Trails and this has been the worst park so far. There are some rustic parks but Sea Pines is awful. Potholes everywhere, trees that need cut back, the sites are weirdly laid out with no definitive markings to show where the sites start and end. The best spots in the park are the annual sites that have laid gravel and do their own maintenance. There were several employees around the park doing standard maintenance everywhere except where needed. The road we were on had dips in them almost a foot deep that were full of water and mud. While walking the dog, we had to cut through sites to get around it. The pictures don't reflect how deep they really are. It's so bad, we opted to leave early and go stay at any on

Staff is accommodating and friendly at all levels.||Bathrooms seemed clean.||Great miniture golf course.||Super member service personal.||Had above average RV site near cabuns while friends stayed in cabin.||RV Site was level and no need to level out RV.||Also, a quiet campground with good cell phone & cellular data reception.||Roads and RV sites are rough. Which means when making reservations make sure not durng rainy season . Huge mud puddles on roads and RV sites, Left on September 16. Rained the night before. When I went to leave my door mat was under water.||The good news is I had been up front so avoided most of the mud puddles driving out.

This is a really nice and peaceful for the most part campground. I have noticed the more rowdy and in my opinion inconsiderate campers are the seasonal ones. Holding large gatherings and basically acting like they are back in their house neighborhoods. Hey to each their own. Just not my idea of enjoying outdoors. Very large campground. The best camp store I've been to so far. Clean showers. Definitely a return to campground.
