This campground has a lot of potential. The bathrooms and lounges were never cleaned while we were there we bought toilet cleaner and brush to be able to use facilities. Our site didn’t look like it was weed wacked all summer. Although the grounds were cut weekly. They did have planned activities during the weekend and the staff was friendly. A good cleaning and some maintenance could make this a better campground
MY HUSBAND AND I JUST LOVE THOUSANDS TRAILS LYNCHBURG VA............ IT IS ALWAYS GREAT WHEN WE TRAVEL TO STOP A FEW DAYS IN LYNCHBURG.........UNFORTUNATELY FOR US THE LAST 3 TIMES PUTT PUTT COURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN, NOT CLEANED FROM DEBRIS....WHICH HAS SADDEN US.....HOWEVER, MAYBE ONE DAY IT WILL IMPROVE..........WE THINK THE AREA IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL.............PEACEFUL AND SERENE........HUFFMAN FAMILY
This campground has so much potential! Time and lack of capital has taken it toll. The pool certainly is the highlight and reason people come to stay here. The campground was clean and quiet. The site had large gavel stone so a large footprint pad for leveling feet is required. If it wasn’t part of the TT SE package, I wouldn’t have stayed here.
We have stayed a few times now and the staff was amazing. Updates have been in progress but we stayed in C campground this time and loved it. Could use some site leveling though. Nice place to walk. Quiet, peaceful but still good phone service!
Really nice place with a great vibe! Lots of full timers who are very friendly - fun activities on the weekends - good facilities. It was extremely peaceful & I felt very safe. I would love to come back!
