Roads are horrible. Site are on top of each other with lots of full time campers with lots of items outside and in the very small bumpy road ways. Fire pit was full of cigarette butts and a man with his dog felt it was acceptable to walk directly in our doorway each day instead of cutting through the empty spaces next to us. We did ask him to walk around as if we opened the door we would have literally walked into him. Thankfully we were not there long.
Our 1st time here! Staff was amazing and accommodating. Absolutely love the communication through their texting. All parks need to implement this. We will definitely be back! Thanks Donna and Shelby for your great communication
Typical of the Thousand Trails Campgrounds I've stayed at, everything was clean, organized and the staff was friendly and very helpful. This place is carved out of the hills and has terraced campsites. This lends to smaller sites so if you have a super large rv unit and have a car/truck to park with it, you may find it a little tight. I have a 31' motorhome and I don't pull a car so I had plenty of room.
Very hilly campground. Our site was a pull through which is rare. It's not exactly level so we leaned to the driver's side a bit but front to back was level. Shelby and all the office staff were really helpful and nice to deal with. Had some lovely neighbors the first night but when they left, there wasn't another rig that moved in. Lots of great sniffing and walking for the dogs too.
I am staying in my RV here and at first I wasn't overly impressed with things but after almost a week, I totally love it here. They have bath houses, a laundry room and a park for my grands. I see a pool and a court, not sure what kind but its winter here so not concerned. I am in a back lot away from pretty much everyone and I am loving it. Even though I am nit close to the group I am traveling with, I don't mind. And no sewer hookup for me but they came by today and dumped me for free. Definitely not complaining!
