Thoroughbred Lodge Hotel-Motel

Just drive to Murdo for nicer rooms. $91 for a room with no internet service, no coffee maker, no ice, and constant dog barking through the thin walls. Outlets had no covers on them and room just felt gross. I’ll take my chances next time and just sleep in my car over this place.

Short stay while in the area. Absolutely loved the apartment we stayed on. Has a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and 4 beds. Kitchen is well stocked if not maybe over stocked (with pots and skillets) Cupboards need a little TLC. Dollar store is right down the road. Someone said there is a small grocery store nearby but we didn’t see it. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here and it's a very clean hotel. The owner lives across the street and is available by phone when needed, like I said it's a very clean place, A/C, fridge, micro. No blow dryer, I didn't see a coffee maker. They do need to upgrade some things in here, like the mattress, and some of the plugs are old. TV's are 13 inch, there is cable. ||I walked into the office and the sheriff was there to take my money( I do believe he is co-owner, ex- husband) but smoking in the office, I have asthma, and can't be around it, so I wasn't happy about that, it's was terrible. But the room didn't have the smell of smoke thank goodness! ||We would stay again, the best part was it was very close to where my husband and his pool crew were playing the tournament, so I was able to walk ove

Great experience. We were coming in really late, so we called to book a room. The lady on the phone was super friendly and went to have the lights on and door unlocked for us, waiting on us to get there. Room was clean, nice hot shower.

This place is a total dump. Run down sketchy environment. No ice, no coffee, no staff on site, no security locks on door . Constant noise outside, beer cans next to my vehicle in the morning. I would sleep on the ground beside the road before I stayed here again.
