The Woodbine Inn

This B&B was much bigger than most of the other ones that I have enjoyed. The kitchen was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor was also very nice. The hostess, Victoria was very accommodating and prepared a fabulous breakfast. This B&B is also dog friendly, which is hard to find. Victoria had a darling, friendly Springer Spaniel named LeVan. Our two dogs enjoyed Levan very much. We definitely enjoyed our stay and Victoria's hospitality.

Cesar, Leah, and little Joaquin are amazing. This is probably the best stay I have had somewhere with my dog Buddy. They are so welcoming. Coffee outside of the room and snacks every day. Easy parking. Fire outside when it’s nice. The history of this place is also super fascinating and I’d recommend anyone look into it. I will definitely be back with Buddy! :) they really put a lot of care into maintaining this historic property.

We stayed here over the July 4th weekend and were entirely pleased. Our room, like the entire inn, was spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable, and very attractively and tastefully furnished and decorated. Breakfast was delicious and Victoria is warm, welcoming, and delightful. The immediate neighborhood of the inn is pleasant if not special, and there are lovely places to hike, stroll, eat well, and sightsee within easy driving distance. Our favorites included Hudson and the Poet's Walk. The information about the area Victoria has prepared was very helpful.

Honey and I wanted to hike down the Kaaterkill Falls and needed a quiet weekend, just us and nature. We stayed at the Woodbine Inn. Ceasar was a wonderful host. He made us a fire each nite at the outdoor pit and we sat there enjoying nature and each other. Ceasar put out a beautiful breakfast spread each morning with coffee and tea and delicious homemade muffins, granola bars etc. During the day there were snacks around like chips and popcorn. There are restaurants nearby or you could go get take out and eat it in the common area. It truly was the perfect space for us to get away from it all. Thank you, Ceasar. We were stressed and feel better now.

We came out of season in mid-April, and were the only guests in the inn that weekend. Cesar and Liz were wonderful hosts to us after just taking over the property a few months prior, even offering us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our engagement. The inn is still beautiful and historic, with a bar right out of the prohibition era. The recent renovations to the suites--including the bathrooms--feel modern, clean and new without taking any charm away from the overall aesthetic. Will definitely be back!
