The Wine Box

We first came to The Wine Box for a long concert weekend. The location was perfect, less than a 10 min walk away from the Gorge Amphitheater entrance. BBQ space and Columbia River views were idyllic. We had such a great time overall, we returned soon after with friends for a fabulous week. There's so much to do in the area. Mountain biking at Ancient Lakes, climbing at the Feathers in Frenchman Coulee, two winery visits for tastings - even a fascinating wind turbine tour on the way home to surprise us all! The house was impeccably clean and had great AC. It's the perfect base for a relaxing or action packed stay.

This is the best place to stay for a concert at The Gorge, or a weekend in the area. After staying here, I don't know how I could ever camp for a festival at the gorge again. I liked it so much that I went back for a non concert weekend and explored all the hiking, biking, boating, wine, and wine (did i mention the wine) the area has to offer. Can't wait to get back in the fall to see the grape and apple harvest in action!
