The Wild Pines

We enjoyed a wonderful, impromptu getaway to The Wild Pines, where we had the pleasure of staying in their Pine Cove Glamping tent. The accommodations were beautiful, and it was immediately evident that Tom and Melissa had invested both time and care into thoughtfully curating their campsite. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering the perfect fusion of natural surroundings and modern comfort. I especially appreciated the propane fire outside and propane heater inside the tent, which provided ample warmth and created a delightfully cozy ambiance on a chilly night. The attention given to the small, thoughtful details did not go unnoticed. This place was exactly the getaway me and my wife needed. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings and decorations. They have the cleanest porta john me and my wife have ever used, it was spotless and smelled like lavender!! There are plenty of additions to the experience you can choose from that are reasonably priced. I chose to add time onto the trip and have some wine, flowers, and candy set out for a romantic night. Melissa set out delicious chocolates, a gorgeous bouquet, and two wines we hadn’t tried. They were delicious! The Lavender wine is our new favorite and we honestly didn’t know they made wine with lavender! If you’re looking for a romantic night with the one you love or a relaxing stay with family, we would definitely recommend you go to Wild Pines. Melissa and Thoma

This place was everything, absolute gem! Clean, beautiful, all the amenities, great proximity to the Wilds and state parks, private and secluded, plenty of room, and so much charm! We can’t wait to come back and stay again. Perfect for a couple or small family (we had a 4yr old) but we want to come back and rent the other sites as well with a larger group. -Bryan and Laura

We just LOVED this place!! It's so peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely be staying again and for a longer period of time. We had some unforseen circumstances that came up which lead us to shorten our stay. The owners did everything in their power to help us through our crazy situation and without them, I don't know what we would have done!!! Thank you Tom and Melissa, you both are God Sent!!

What can I say this place was absolutely peaceful we had the property to ourselves. This was a surprise getaway for my husbands birthday and he was pleased when we arrived. The hosts put in so much thought and make each place feel like home. They were so helpful and worked with me back and forth to make this a special trip!
