The White River Inn

We just returned from our third visit to the White River Inn. As always before it was magnificent in all aspects of accommodation, cuisine and fishing. Steve and Elisabeth do a wonderful job and guide Michael was outstanding. We have already booked for 2026.

First off, the lodge is an absolute A+…spotless, comfortable, with every amenity possible. Steve and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts! Accommodating, attention to detail and friendly all describe this wonderful couple. What really sets this place apart for me was the delicious meals ELizabeth prepared every evening….and….the desserts were off the chart! The fishing experience went off without a hitch: Steve arranged everything, the guides were spot on, the river was beautiful, and the fishing was outstanding. We (a group pf four guys) take a fishing trip every year and the White River Inn is by far on the top of list of places we have visited. Thanks again Steve and Elizabeth!!

1st great service by Steve ; he answered all of our fishing questions well in advanced of our trip. Secondly, Elizabeth was an amazing cook; every meal was cooked properly. The cookies were yummy. Both were very polite and professional. The lodge is super clean. Stephen set up 4 guides for our group. They were all great. Mike and Jason guided for me; thank you.

The White River Inn is everything you want in a luxury 5 Star lodge. Steve & Elisabeth are the perfect hosts as they both love fly fishing and both come from hospitality backgrounds. Their food is the best we’ve had at fishing lodges and we’ve been to many other similar lodges. Steve is super knowledgeable about the river and has a genuine interest in his guests having an epic experience. They are great people and fun to be with. This was our 3rd trip there in 8 months and we booked our 4th for this Fall (2025). The White River is a great fishery- my wife and I caught ~125+/- ‘bows & browns in 2 days! Can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic experience from the airport pick up, the welcome , the beauty of the inn and the terrific hosts. The inn sits in a beautiful high setting looking at the river. Rooms are spacious, super clean , comfortable bedding. Meals are fantastic , homemade and carefully presented Common areas are spacious with books and games. Fishing guides are professional and knowledgeable. The river is fished Hard and you will see plenty of other boats out there. Steve and Elisabeth caring innkeepers and are attentive to any need. We will come back!
