Customer Reviews
I stayed at the Whetstone Inn with my niece and three nephews, all teenagers. The Inn itself is lovely and the location was perfect. What made the stay stand out, however, was the wonderful hosts who went the extra mile to make sure we were treated well. The breakfast was wonderful, and they even made me the best gluten-free waffle I've ever had. Thanks for a great stay!
Delightful December stay, the room was very comfortable and the old school Inn vibe is quite special.|The individual made to order breakfast: eggs, pancakes, bacon and real VT maple syrup was scrumptious. And the staff was friendly and attentive.|Headed back soon!!
Wonderful place! We booked this as a stopped on our road trip up to Acadia. Beautiful old home, tons of fascinating history, great grounds, pond and birds out back. In the winter there is a cross country skiing trail that comes right up to the place. Very friendly staff. Feels very homey. Breakfast was amazing! Best breakfast I have had in a long time. Fresh fruit, blueberry pancakes, waffles (you gotta get these), eggs and delicious sausage and bacon. Oh and wonderful coffee. Definitely recommend — kid and dog friendly as well!
This was a charming inn, is nestled in the White Mountains of Marlboro, VT. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by quaint towns. |Our hosts were wonderful. The breakfast consisted of several choices that were served fresh. It’s clean, and unique. |It was a stagecoach stop at one time. It housed a tavern, post office and dance hall, in the day. Great place for you history buffs!|I would 100% recommend this place.
My husband and I spent 2 nights here while leaf peeping in VT. We had the lovely yellow room which was large and bright and the bed was very comfortable (very important to me). The staff were warm and very hospitable and the Inn was full of charm and history. I loved it. It was so quiet and peaceful. Not too far from Brattleboro where we would go for dinner. We spent one afternoon just sitting in the back garden reading and soaking up the warm October sun. Would highly recommend for a place off the beaten path.
