The Weekender Cabins and RV Retreat

What a beautiful place to relax and kick back for a little while. The place is a little off the beaten path, but is a hidden gem. It’s relaxing, quiet, and has all the amenities a seasoned traveler would want. Full hook up RV sites provide options for additional parking and most sites have a comfortable grass yard. Laundry facilities, high speed internet, amazing pricing, and comfortable cabins make this place a very special find. It’s close enough to civilization to get what you need, but far enough away to hide. Great fishing, hunting, and hiking are all around. They have kayaks for you to rent as well! We absolutely loved our stay there in our camper.

I spent 10 months at the Weekender and you couldn’t ask for a more perfect place to stay if you’re looking to get out into the country and sight see or fish or if you like canoeing or biking. There’s numerous state parks and lakes in the area. Grant does guided fishing trips and knows the best places for smallmouth bass fishing along with canoeing and kayaking and mountain biking. Grant and Elissa are the best hosts period !! Hands Down. If you’re looking for a nice quiet family rv campground then you don’t have look any farther than here. I did not stay in any of the cabins since I had my camper but everything looked well maintained in the area...I never had any problems from anyone. It was nice and quiet. The extra bathroom and laundry room was always kept nice and clean. I appreciate everything they did especially being there for me at a moments notice. I would definitely stay there again...

This is our 3rd time staying in these cabins and every time has been great. The cabins are clean, well stocked and in a great location for lake Nimrod. Highly recommend for anyone coming to the area and we will definitely be back to stay here.

Had a wonderful stay in one of the cabins. I was traveling through and needed a place to stay a couple days. The cabin was nicely decorated and felt like home; very comfortable. The park was quiet even though there were quite a few RVs occupying the pads. Used the laundry facilities, the separate building was clean and the machines available handled my needs nicely. There’s a city park within an easy walking distance. I highly recommend these accommodations for anyone wanting to explore the area or just need to get away!
