The Wapiti Lodge

We were not impressed at all. The place was recommended but a client of mine. We had to find someone to be able to check in. No breakfast Restaurant was not opened. We were 4 people and did not even have a whole roll of toilet paper. We had to ask and were told where to go get some ourselves. Also I asked about a coffee pot she said they had one but no coffee grinds she said there was a keiurg but there was only 1 coffee pod and we were a party of 4. 2 bedrooms The beds were very small and not comfortable at all. My husband and I rolled to the middle. I will not stay there again and will not recommend

On arrival a sign directed us to the bar for registration due to short staffing. We were given the key to our room. Key was hard to remove and doing so demonstrated that the door handle was loose - likely from jiggling to get the key out. The hot water in the bathroom sink was disconnected. Turning the valve, we discovered there was a significant leak. The room is poorly lit. Did have a small kitchenette. Sign told us that we were responsible for cleaning any dishes we used and we were expected to bag any trash and leave it by the door. A house keeping fee of $25 assessed if we failed to comply. A very small tv with only one channel showing old western series (Bonanza, Gunsmoke etc) Remotedidnt appear to work. When we left we were told that the manager knew about the leak. She also assured

Nicely remodeled. Included a good bar/Restuarant. Great bed and a little kitchen. Beautiful location. Easy to find and enjoyed the stay.

Great food even if a small menu. Cauliflower starter was excellent. Main courses were really good but a lot of burger style foods. Well cooked and tasty. Salad was excellent. Service was warm and friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. We dined two nights. And loved it.
