The Wanderlust Inn

This place is a dump, but almost literally. There was old (rusting) equipment taking up a parking space. Actual garbage around the property. The walls are so thin you can hear the next room over, no matter what they're doing (we hear every time our neighbor sneezed, spoke, or used their bathroom). Its like a super 8 that hasn't been kept up in over 30 years but significantly more expensive. There is no management on site and trying to get a hold of them is as difficult as it is awkward, when/if they finally answer the phone. If you need anything, don't. They won't be providing it. They texted a code for the supply closet when we asked for TP and it didn't have TP but it did have keys to all of the rooms, which is super not ok. If there's anything wrong with your room, too bad. Not awesome, but not terrible. It had the feel of an okay Air BnB. There was way too much furniture for the room crowding it. The shower water pressure was poor and would fluctuate temperature a lot. The baseboard heaters also weren't fantastic considering we had a toddler.

The jacuzzi is not for public use. I wanted to grill some meat, but that wasn't possible either, since the grill is next to the jacuzzi. The people staying in room 16 were told that it was their area and we weren't allowed in. When I booked this hotel, it said it was for public use! I don't recommend going there; customer service doesn't respond! And another thing: there's no hot water in the room!

Wanderlust saved us on our trip. We had late arrival (after 10pm) because of a train delay, the keypad at our original hotel didn't work and we couldn't get anyone on the phone. Wanderlust answered the phone at 11pm and let us book over the phone. They had us in a room in ten minutes and we are so grateful!

If I could put it in a negative numbers I would! No security, no managers on site, our toilet flowed over and they didn't even give enough toilet paper or remove the soiled linen...Dump is too good for this place! Don't stay here!
