The Waldoboro Inn

Adorable, vintage little inn. Great location for exploring the mid coast area. Wonderful amenities for creating your own adventure, whether you want to make breakfast, pack a lunch. It's the best of both worlds of having an Airbnb and a hotel room. Slow down a second and take a moment to enjoy Maine and what it has to offer. We look forward to coming back and enjoying the Wine Bar.

I had an incredibly lovely experience staying at The Waldoboro Inn. The space is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed. Such a sweet and comfortable landing place from which to explore midcoast Maine, although this place in and of itself was a highlight of my trip!

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at the Waldoboro Inn—perfect for laid back mornings and afternoons before and after exploring Midcoast Maine. All of the spaces are unique, creative and comfortable. It’s unlike any inn we have stayed at—infused with creativity and whimsy yet deeply in tune with our needs as guests. The kitchen was a highlight. It has everything you need for a simple breakfast, generously provided, or can serve as the site of a more ambitious culinary pursuit. Another highlight was meeting Alexa, whose talent and dedication are admirable. We look forward to our next visit!

We stayed one night in this charming inn in the center of Waldoboro so that we could attend an event at the Waldo Theater. The room was comfortable and quiet, satisfactory in every way. It's all 'self-service' with keypad entries, so we never had any interactions with the hosts. Breakfast is available, all self-service as well. We opted for breakfast at Moody's Diner.

I've been watching the progression of The Waldoboro Inn since they first started renovating it, and couldn't wait to stay for a few days during a summer vacation to Midcoast Maine. We were absolutely not disappointed! What a cozy, art-filled experience. So much detail is put into the furnishings and decor, and there's a feeling of being "home" while you're there. You're free to use their well-appointed kitchen, play pool on the vintage table, and relax in their garden wine bar, Ida's. Can't say enough good things. Also, they gave us several excellent recommendations for art galleries, food and drink. Alexa, the owner, spent time talking with us about the history behind the project, which made us love it even more. We'll be back! UPDATE (8/18/25): We did come back again this year, and love
