The Villages at Ocean Edge

Six of my girlfriends and I went on a girls trip for a long weekend. We booked a 3 bedroom/3 bathroom room in the Edinborough village. It was clean and spacious and right next to the Lynx restaurant. Had dinner at the Lynx and the service and food were really good. Every employee on the property was friendly and kind. But our favorite part of the property was the Beach Bar and the bartender Jeff (or Thomas Jefferson as we called him). Jeff was welcoming, attentive and funny and made our time there enjoyable. Other patrons were friendly and talkative and the sunsets were out of this world! We enjoyed our weekend and the resort. Next time we will try to go in the warmer weather when we can also enjoy the pools, the pickleball courts and the Mansion restaurants.

This was our third summer in a row at the Arbor Village, and our fifth stay overall. I can't say enough about how fantastic this resort is. The condo is always impeccably clean and has everything we need to make our stay comfortable. You can simply unpack, and not ever leave the resort. The convenience of having everything right on site always makes for a very relaxing and stress free vacation. We find the grounds so peaceful, and there's so much to do, from playing pickleball to walking along the paths, to riding bikes on the rail trail, to relaxing on the beach. We've eaten at Bayzo's Pub, Ocean Terrace, and the Beach Bar; all of the meals and service have always been great! The staff all over the resort are so kind, friendly and professional. I stayed here for one night in the office season. The Mansion is beautiful and warm. My rooms were in a different location and it was a really nice apartment. For one night it was a hassle due to location (it's a HUGE property so it took awhile to find it), & 3 flights of steps. But for an extended stay it would be great!

Our family Thanksgiving at Villages at Ocean Edge, Britterige Blueberry Pond villa was wonderful...though too short (2 nights). We give it top marks all around for room quality, cleanliness, value, resort atmosphere and amenities such as the pools and special event Sound Bar Pool experience and beautiful mansion ambience . We especially loved the service by staff from the Bayzo bar and restaurant and front desk. Our housekeeping staff member and other personnel we encountered on the resort was friendly and efficient. It is the full package for a destination and one few resorts can achieve and we look forward to a return stay. We booked a short getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary and enjoy some golf, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.||To begin with, the reservation process was incredibly frustrating. Despite being advertised as a “golf resort,” there was a complete lack of coordination between the resort and the golf course. It took multiple itinerary changes and several calls to both the resort and the golf pro shop before we could finally secure dates for late September.|On arrival the woman at the front desk was rude, rushed, and unhelpful—surprising, especially since we arrived on a quiet Monday afternoon during the off-season.
