The Village Inn Harrisonburg

Never in my life have I felt compelled to check out of a hotel and find a new one...until tonight when I prematurely checked out of the Village Inn. First thing I noticed was that the floors weren't thoroughly vacuumed because my socks had picked up hair and debris. I chose to ignore this because it's hard to keep hotel carpets clean, especially when you allow pets. But when I looked at the bed it seemed suspiciously wrinkled, so I took a closer look at the sheets and realized there was hair all over them. All different types of hair...curly, straight, long, short, thick, wispy. I also saw some sort of particles on the sheets. If it had been only three or four hairs I honestly would have been okay with taking them off and spending the night. But it was too dirty and disheveled for me to fe

Had a GREAT experience at this nice motel. Location was very convenient as it was located between 2 exits off the highway and close to many options for dinner and shopping. Staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding!

We've stayed here for quite a few YRS when traveling through. We purposely go here, it's a half way point & we adored it after the 1st time. It used to be 5 stars hands down. I would say its not quite 4 but I wanna be fair. It is a reasonable price. I would reccomend going to the vending machines for coffee! The regular is Not something to look forward to! Don't get me wrong, it's still a very nice location, especially family/pet freindly! My bby went into a pool her 1st time here in summer. We just stayed again(now winter 2 yrs later) & she loved the playground! However, the carpets need a good clean. I wouldn't walk on them barefoot if ya know what I mean. Even if you just shampooed the rooms, I'm sure that would make a difference🙂 maybe updating the showerheads if possible would stando

Honestly probably the best hotel experience we’ve ever had! We were on a trip from NC to NY when our large International 7400 broke down. The inn allowed us to park it here and rent a room for the night! The staff were so friendly, the food was great at the morning breakfast buffet, and the room was incredibly spacious and clean! 10/10 will stay here the next time we come through! Awesome!
