The Vagabond Hotel Miami

The Vagabond hotel is very cute! The owners are onsite daily and seem to really care about the space. We especially enjoyed the poolside patio and only wish we visited during ON season so we could enjoy the poolside bar. The pool is heated and perfect for the cooler winter temps. No hot tub that I could see. Our room was very clean and the mattress firm and new - no divets! The shower was spacious and new. The room came with two freshly laundered bathrobes. The lobby had great coffee! There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Ideal spot.

We hit the jackpot in Miami. Right in the historic district sits this impeccably restored hotel that feels like a hidden treasure. The moment you walk in, you’re transported to another era — timeless style, classic details, and that unmistakable old-Miami charm. The pricing is shockingly fair for what you get. The staff? Gracious, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything. And the pool and outdoor space — pure vintage glamour. We love staying at The Vagabond and come here every time we are in Miami. he staff are great (shout out to May,Billie,and Lance) and the rooms are bright and clean with a marvelous retro appeal and colors. The property is well maintained with lovely greenery and a sparkling pool. The motel is located in the Mimo historic district and convenient to the Design District, Wynwood, and the Beach. So many great restaurants to choose from and we had breakfast every morning at the fabulous Caracas Bakery which serves wonderful organic eggs, fresh sourdough and superb pastries. The rates are super reasonable and the other guests all had great things to say about the motel.

I found the Vagabond via Tripadvisor, and the excellent reviews proved to be solid! This property is in the middle of the Miami Modern District which showcases wonderful examples of midcentury architecture on Biscayne Boulevard. The hotel has been restored beautifully and very nicely furnished; we were so comfortable in our large room, soaring sealing, and gracious bath. The pool area, which is lushly landscaped, provided us a perfect spot for a moonlight cocktail before dinner. The staff and management were uber friendly, and made certain we had all we needed to be comfortable. The price was very reasonable, and the location central to much Miami has to offer. I never leave reviews but I felt compelled after staying at Vagabond. After a cancelled flight, I was lucky enough to snag a room here and stay for 4 nights. The hotel is quiet and calm - the rooms are spacious and modern. I was floored by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Billie and Mae were so kind in helping me secure a room and were extremely comforting after a stressful travel day. Highly recommend based on staff alone. Great pool and lots of amazing food in walking distance.
