Customer Reviews
So where to start? My wife and I got the Hobbit House. And, it was amazing. The place was great. Lots of space. Wood stove. Electricity. A very unique, and rustic experience. We absolutely enjoyed our visit and we 100% will.be going back again. The fact that they have a few year rounds sites is amazing. The prices are great. Nick and the staff were all amazing. Bathrooms were clean. Highly recommend this place.
The Treehouse Camp never disappoints! For a chance to get away from modern stress — without needing to “rough it” to the extreme in complete wilderness — this is the place. If you want to immerse yourself in the forest and enjoy s’mores around a campfire without feeling glued to a screen, but don’t want to be forced to sleep in a tent or skip showering altogether, it’s a perfect “in-between” less than two hours from DC. If you really want to sleep in a tent and grill all your meals, you can do that - but if you’re like our family and would rather sleep in a rustic yet comfortable cabin and still have the option leaving the campsite to head out to dinner at a scrumptious farm-to-table restaurant, that’s completely do-able too! It’s impressive how secluded and non-corporate the place feels,
I reserved the "Hobbit House" this past week. The campgrounds are well spaced out in the area I was in. The cabin was very unique and well crafted. It was more spacious then I expected being I'm over 6ft tall. The grill provided was very nice and clean. As a fan of the "Hobbit/lord of the rings" movies and books, the cabin was themed nicely. The people working there were friendly and gave me a heads up when a bunch of kids were inbound.
My first time here and my first time camping. We originally booked the Magnolia however the staff offered us The Willow after a small leak in the Magnolia. The Willow was perfect rustic cabin to break me into camping!! The outdoor community showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The bathrooms were also clean. Everything we needed was a short walk. We stayed mid week through Sunday. During the week it was just us and another group. The weekend was crowded , even with more folks in camp it was just as peaceful. I cant wait to come back!
Spent a lovely weekend getaway for my anniversary, along with some friends. Had such a blast and stayed in the beautiful Maple Cabin, will definitely go agian! Very friendly staff too!
