The Town House Inn

We attended my Niece's wedding there yesterday. We arrived on Sunday and Carol the Manager was very caring, polite and gave me a big hug when we arrived. My husband and I, plus two of our daughters and their four daughters slept in the Guest House. We had three bedrooms a full kitchen and a den. My one daughter made the wedding cake so it was perfect for that. The main house has one bedroom downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs. This home is on the historical registry and it is beautiful. Check out the history on Facebook. Unfortunately, the kitchen in here did not work. It shut down during COVID and they have not reopened it, although I read some great reviews about it. Our family had access to whole the property and again, Carol was very accommodating with everything. We left today

On a motorcycle trip trying to stay out of big cities and found this place on our way. The hostess Carol is fantastic, very sweet and accommodating. Rooms were clean and the buildings were very nice. (It's possible you might even run into a ghost or 2? ;0) They did provide coffee, but it would have been really nice if they would have provided some type of breakfast even if it was just pastries or cereal or something.

It was a pleasure to meet Carol! Very sweet lady. We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful inn, room was spacious and comfortable!

Uncomfortable Beds/Squeaky I have stayed In every room in the big house and one room in the cottage. Extended work stay working on golf course in Mauk. I’ve not been impressed, The stay has been one of convenience being that Columbus is an hour away from the job site. But this stay in the cottage is the last straw! There is a full-time tenant living upstairs in the cottage that works second shift it is not respectful of others sleeping. Stayed here for a week for work didn’t sleep a wink. I can’t wait to go home. Literally writing this at 2:30 AM There’s also an annoying beeping sound every 30 seconds coming from the privately locked washer and dryer room in the cottage. My son had a summer internship in the area and we chose the Town House Inn for his long term stay. The accommodations were great! His room was very comfortable and clean and the kitchen had everything he needed to cook meals in the evenings for himself. The best part though, is Carol, the manager. She is truly amazing- so hospitable and always there to answer questions or provide recommendations. She treated my son like her own and we would definitely stay here again!
