The Tiptonian

Great option for a stay! Room & common areas were nicely decorated, clean, and very comfortable. Coffee available in the well appointed common areas makes this an overall great option. Low contact checkin and checkout made for super easy arrival and departure as well (always available for questions or assist). Had everything I needed, will stay again!

Had a great stay at the Tiptonian. The room was well done and quite comfortable. Initially we were concerned about potential for noise bleed-through from the restaurant/Bar below, but the noise from “open mic night” was minimal in the Purple room and ended by 10pm. A nice location for us while visiting elderly parent in town. Would definitely stay again.

We had such a lovely weekend staying here. We were in town for a wedding at The Carnegie in nearby Elwood, and The Tiptonian was a perfect spot for our family to stay. We loved the individual charm given to each room - I stayed in the Pink Room and absolutely fell in love with the personal touches in the decorations and the attention to detail given to the space. Andrea was wonderful when we were planning our stay - she answered all of our questions and made our booking process a breeze. She had wonderful suggestions of things to do in the surrounding area - I wish we had more time in Tipton proper so we could have taken advantage of everything that was nearby. The Tiptonian was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our night out, as it’s located right above a brewery and much to our surprise it was quiet! It has 2 common areas one which includes a refrigerator and kitchen amenities. They really thought of everything from board games and local yearbooks to keep you entertained to streaming Roku’s in the rooms! We’re definitely going to be back very reasonably priced too!

This place is so charming. The sisters did an amazing job bringing it to life. Every part of our experience here was top tier. Live music saturday night was a perfect way to just chill and enjoy the night. Walking distance to so many places made it so easy to get what we needed. I will definitely make this my go to stay anytime I'm in the area.
