The Timbers Resort

Resort was an excellent place. Our cabin was really nice. We had truck issues and the owner, Sarah, gave us a ride to a neighboring town to get it to the dealership. She was friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend staying here!

We only stayed one night on our way through the UP and my husband was looking forward to fishing with our 10 year old daughter. We had the smallest of the cabins because there were only 3 of us. It had basically anything you’d need which was nice but we ended up eating out. The owners recommended Konteka nearby where they feed the bears and you can watch them while you eat dinner. It was pretty cool to watch. My daughter went out fishing on the dock but didn’t have much luck. We had a futon in our cabin for our daughter and we had a queen bed. There was a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. We didn’t use anything other than a spoon. We did use the shower and the bathroom was very small which was to be expected in a tiny cabin. The only complaint was that the bathroom do

Everything was perfect! We arrived later than expected in the evening and the communication about how to get in was spot on. Cabin was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Kim commented several times that "they thought of everything". The lake view was also amazing!! I saw another review that all the good reviews were from friends and family. That is not the case. We met the owners for the first time that weekend. I have nothing negative to say about the stay and will certainly visit again! Thank you Sarah & Tim!!

Great place. The owners keep it so clean and welcoming! Cleanest place I've stayed in a while! If your going hunting/fishing/hiking in the area, it is a great place to stay! The boat launch is right down the road abd of course ATV areas all over

The cabins are well equipped, clean and mostly comfortable. The bed was soft, which may or may not be to your individual taste. We enjoyed it. Our only inconvenience was that the bed was not accessible from both sides as 1 side was against the wall. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful. The owners were very friendly and eager to help even with arriving quite late. Thank you Tim and Sarah!
