Sketchy motel. Dingy. Loud. Paper-thin walls. Room next to me played really loud music and they were smoking… could smell it in my room. Rooms in desperate need of renovation, bathroom especially. What’s crazy is how expensive a room is for a night, and then to consider the quality of the motel and ask yourself how can it be so rundown despite how much you pay. Apparently their profits go to keeping the lights on, not about making any improvements.||Note the motel’s parking lot doubles as a paid parking lot for the amusement park adjacent to the motel and it doesn’t close until midnight or so. As a result you get lots of loud, noisy, annoying people throughout the night keeping you awake. Some people think it’s ok to play extremely loud music from their cars and just hang out in the parkin
Convenient and welcoming hotel located right by a nice beach. The rooms are nothing fancy and are a bit outdated but they were clean and had an excess of outlets and a small kitchenette. The woman at the desk was extremely helpful and nice, she allowed us to look at a room before deciding to stay there and had plenty of things available to buy in the little shop, and when I forgot my bag and had to drive an hour back to get it late at night she went and got my bag and held onto it for me with no trouble so I could get it. She also had a good price for a waterfront hotel on Long Island on a Saturday night.
I haven’t stayed there in a while, but the place is a dump hole they have section 8 living on the other side of the hotel definitely not a place you wanna bring your family
Positive: "" Negative: It looked scary and frankly I wanted to rebook immediately because of the broken window and drapes made out of sound blankets.
Very remote location if you are going there for the proclaimed Beach Access, know it’s not a beach for the hotel guests, it’s a private beach for the Oyster Bay residents and you will just sleekly walk into the sandy dunes to just sit next to the life guards! The hotel needs tons of repairs and maintenance no service was provided to my room! For the entire 7 days stay stay and rooms has no coffee machine, plenty or ants and crawling creatures roamed around.
