Really enjoyed our stay at the Thompson House Inn. The home is large and impressive, with beautiful interior decoration and a remarkable history deeply connected with the town of Leland. Miller was a great host, flexible with our late arrival time and welcoming throughout. He took the time to show us around the property and share stories about the home and local region over a great breakfast. The speakeasy and bar are especially impressive and unique in the Delta. Overall this is a well run, beautiful and historic B&B that I’d highly recommend if you happen to be visiting the area. Would highly recommend!
Wonderful inn run by a great young team - great speakeasy bar downstairs. We stayed on the ground floor in Galloway facing the rear/side. You can hear the bar and people in the dining area but it didn’t bother us. Bella welcomed us and we came out at 6.30 for a drink to find a packed ground floor bar and a large group having dinner. We sat with 3 other couples in an annex and our young server struggled a bit as he was inexperienced, but that just added to the charm. The food was good and enough choice of wine. We headed to the speakeasy bar which is in the basement and we had a great time chatting to the husband/boyfriend of the two women (Bella and Miller) who run the place. All charming and fun people. Got chatting to some locals. Had a really good time. Breakfast was simple an
Stayed on a Thursday night. This place had Hot water and comfortable beds. The restaurant had the best crab cakes. 🦀🎂 🤌🤌 Bella and Miller took care of us 🙂
The Thompson House is an amazing B&B with a fantastic restaurant, The 1902 B.H. It’s very clean, bright, and airy. Highly recommend spending multiple nights there to explore the Blues Trail & local history. It is by far the best B&B I have ever encountered! A friend and I stayed overnight in late October 2024 during a brief visit to Leland. When I called to ask which room might best accommodate us, manager Bella Gehrke listened carefully and suggested the Jones Room, also noting my dietary restrictions. She also booked us a brunch reservation at their onsite restaurant, The 1902 T.H. This warm, pleasant initial encounter set the stage for our fantastic stay!||When we arrived around 1:45 pm on Sunday, we were immediately seated at the 1902 restaurant and allowed to order off any of
I had a wonderful stay at this incredibly beautiful bed and breakfast. The home itself is gorgeous and thoughtfully curated décor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail, from the elegant furnishings to the cozy ambiance, made the stay feel special.||It also has an amazing bar, where the hosts crafted personalized mixed drinks, adding a fun and unique touch to the experience. Loved my stay.
