The Terrell House

My family and I stayed at the beautifully restored Terrell house in Crawfordville for fall break. This house is so charming and has all the features (including spa like soaking tubs) to make it a relaxing escape from the big city! We enjoyed family movie nights and great conversations on the porch while in the rocking chairs! The town is so fun to visit. Just a short drive to Athens to attend a GA Dawgs game & very close to Greensboro, Washington, and Madison for some great farm to table food and antiquing. We will certainly be visiting the Terrell house again as it feels like a home away from home with plenty of room for the whole family and a tranquil small town atmosphere.

Longggg overdue review. I stayed at the Terrell house following landfall of Hurricane Hellene up until Milton had cleared Florida. My company owners and several crewmembers stayed there for over a week. I can't speak to the price or ease of booking as I wasn't involved in that, but here is what I can say. Outdoor appeal: This house is gorgeous on the outside and there is plenty of parking. The grass was kept up, the exterior was clean and the pictures of the porch do NOT do it justice. We spent every night on the porch cutting up after working before sunrise until the sun went down. Indoor: The house has been fully renovated with some excellent choices of keeping the "old" or original stuff. The floors, steps, and railing seems to be original and it has stood the test of time. S
