The Tanglewood Hotel

I stayed at the Tanglewood Hotel on a work trip to Versailles and it was a fantastic experience. I stayed in the Courthouse Suite and it was very spacious and clean. The shower is massive and the bed was very comfortable. Plus, the price is reasonable given how nice the room is. The town is small and quiet but there are a couple of great restaurants and a nice coffee shop all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend the Tanglewood to anyone staying in Versailles.

We needed an event space for our son's first birthday in the colder weather. The Tanglewood was the perfect place, just a few minutes from our house, and the pricing for a day event was great for the space and amenities available. There was plenty of room for all our guests, and everyone loved the historic charm. The full multi-stall bathrooms and full kitchen made the reservation even more convenient. Holly was so good with communications, and from first interest until we left the venue, we had nothing but great experiences! Would definitely recommend the venue. (We didn't need hotel rooms, so ignore our review for rooms - though we're sure they're lovely!)

Honestly, it felt like a vacation. It was very clean classy. And best bed to sleep on ever. I wish I could stay there every night! If you want a getaway from everyday life and an incredible wonderful experience, The Tanglewood is the place! They also do events, weddings and parties, and have a full professional commercial kitchen.

The building and room have been renovated. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The linens were new and stylish. We would recommend the Tanglewood for a great getaway weekend with lots of character and charm. We were in the area on a family visit and enjoyed Emily's Brew Coffee Shop, Tequillas, and The White Rabbit for meals. We got out each morning for a walk and visited the covered bridge one morning as well as the Tyson Landmarks about town. The Square was festively decorated for the Holidays. Versailles has many gems to offer a visitor.

This a beautiful boutique hotel is in a gorgeously restored historic building! You can tell the owner really took a lot of time and put her heart and soul into this project. The rooms have all the modern conveniences while still keeping the beautiful character of the old building. The bed and bedding are so comfy. The room was so inviting and cozy I didn't want to leave. I loved the contactless and keyless entry into both the building and my room. I travel to Indiana for work a lot and I will definitely be staying here again.
