The Sugar Maple Lodge

Tim and The Sugar Maple Lodge saved my wedding!!! We had a restaurant booked in Munising for a year in advance for our wedding dinner, and they let us know 12 days before the wedding they could no longer accommodate us. Some family had The Sugar Maple Lodge booked already as their rental home, so we had the idea to ask Tim if we could have our wedding dinner there outside. He said yes and I couldn’t have imagined our wedding any other way. We had 60 people over (ate outside, rented tables and chairs) and there was plenty of room. We also had a large tent with food, a bonfire area, a dance area. It ended up being a perfect venue for us. Tim was extremely kind and accommodating the whole trip. Owner Tim picked me and the wife up after our side by side broke down. Gave us a ride back to out rental. Pretty nice dude if ya ask me!

site wasn’t clear that after 10 people it’s 25 per person, per night. he tried charging more money but if you wanted the money it should be clear on the site. the weird thing is that we didn’t tell him there was more people right away so i’m pretty sure he watches us at the cabin. pretty weird. he constantly texted us the entire trip. we only had a few days there and didn’t waste our time arguing with him. now that we are gone is he stalking face book sending pictures of myself to me and telling me that he has all of our license plates. the cabin isn’t even that nice. no master room. the bathroom in the basement was unfinished, made strange noises and the shower curtain does nothing but get soaking wet. porch lights don’t work. no rail on basements steep stairs. they erase bad reviews in

Absolutely loved it! We got married outside the cabin and everyone that showed up complemented on how beautiful the place was! We will be coming back!

Sharing the accolades of everyone who has posted. Beautiful house. Gorgeous surroundings. My only caveat. Bring lots of mosquito repellant! They are ravenous!
