The STAY at Liberty Farms

CITY GIRL WHO ENJOYS NATURE- Just returned from one of the most amazing trips, only two hours away from NYC. The Stay at Liberty Farms far exceeded our expectations. Im not a camping type of girl, but i do enjoy being in nature and this was the perfect combo of both. To add to the amazing stay, the staff at The Stay were all so welcoming and just genuinely nice, it felt like a family run establishment. It was fairly easy to get to from the city on the AMTRAK, around two hours, then a quick Uber over. The farm has two stores that supplies goods from the the farm (meats, veggies and snacks) and within 15 min drive theres Hudson and Chatham that has grocery stores, bars and other hangouts. I loved The Stay. I got married this weekend and this is where mine and my husband’s friends stayed and it was so fun. The place is beautiful, the tents are amazing and cozy, the bathrooms are so cool, especially the rain shower, and I cannot say enough great things about the staff. Joe and Ben were professional and a lot of fun. Whatever anyone needed they were on it. The continental breakfast was also very good. I felt so relaxed the whole time. We defiantly plan on going back.

My husband is a true camper. I am not. This spot was a perfect compromise. Beautiful views, birdsongs, peace and solitude that were so needed all while I got to enjoy the comforts that electricity and a bathroom offer. Heavy rains during our visit didn’t dampen the experience. We watched, cozy and dry, from the porch and then the super comfortable king size bed. Coleman was an excellent host, accessible and a pleasure to talk with. They are continuing to add to the property (spa coming soon) but for us it’s great just the way it is. Oh! And their offering of Liberty Farms meats for grilling at the common area was impressive. Highly recommend!!

Spent a night at Liberty Farms over the weekend and could not have had a better experience! From check in, Ben was kind and personable and gave a great overview of the farm and grounds. The tent itself was spacious with a beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed. Despite being 90 degrees outside, inside the tent was cool and the fan provided was enough to keep us comfortable. The tents are also very spread out so there is a lot of privacy. We can't wait to return for another stay!

This was my first time Glamping and what an incredible experience. I went with my husband and one year old and the stay was perfect for us. The tents were so cute and the beds were so comfortable. Sunset views from The Nest were breathtaking and the little bar area was a huge plus. Our host Ben was amazing and so accommodating. We would honestly go back just to hang with him that’s how awesome he is! He gave us some great recommendations as to what we can do nearby- see a waterfall, and walk the town of Hudson. He also helped set up a farm tour for us. Having a great host like him really makes all the difference on a trip. Thank you Ben!
