This place and the staff are wonderful. We’ve truly loved every stay here. The hotel has such a great vibe, relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a place meant to slow down and enjoy. The rooms are comfortable and well cared for, and the common spaces invite you to linger and connect. A few things to note. The cancelation policy has changed and is not 24 hour anymore as the website says. You need to provide 7 day notice. Which I found out the hard way. Another thing to note if they are rather full you may not get a chance at the spa the day you check in, and may only get a chance the morning after if you only stay one night, as the spa time must be reserved as they limit spots. They do have a wait-list for the spa if it gets filled. Also
We had such a great anniversary celebration stay at the Society Hotel in Bingen. The staff were all super friendly and helpful—everyone made us feel really welcome from the start. Our room was clean, stylish, and super comfortable—simple in the best way.||The hotel grounds were awesome, with lots to do. We loved the gym area, especially the basketball court and all the fun games they had set up. It gave the place a really relaxed, community vibe.||After hiking around the gorge and Mt. Hood, the spa was exactly what we needed—so relaxing and well-designed. Overall, everything felt really thoughtful and well cared for.||Great service, great space, and just a really good vibe all around. We’re already talking about coming back!
I’ve stayed here 3 different times, the first 2 times were positive. The last visit is the reason my fiancé and I don’t plan to return. The major draw to this hotel is the spa. When we were there on our last visit the hotel allowed kids to overrun the space. I am not talking about kids being there or being a little noisy, they were running, jumping into and out of the cold people, all over the place. After the second day of this I pointed it out to a staff member that this behavior violated the hotels own posted rules and that this was not relaxing. They seemed apathetic, but did ask if I wanted them to do anything. Seemed like an odd question. I decided to leave get dressed and speak to the receptionist. They also did not seem sympathetic, but said that a manager would reach out. No one e
I am a local and thought it would be cool to have a new establishment to utilize. I was excited about the hot tub area. I booked, arrived, changed and didn't even get in the water. There were babies in diapers bouncing around in the hot tub/pool area, kids and just in general WAY to many bodies for it to be relaxing. I handed my dry towel to the host and told her why. She didn't seem to care at all and just carried on with her conversation. So basically I just flushed the money down the drain. The tourists can have it.
I’ve been soaking here for years and finally stayed overnight in the hotel. As a local you are not allowed to stay in the bunk rooms, so for $150 per night on a weeknight you don’t get your own bathroom, no coffee or tea service in the bedrooms, they give you disposable cups to drink out of, I had to unplug the speaker next to the bed to plug in my phone, the bedsheets were scratchy, and no cancellations within 7 days of booking. First world problems but I was a little shocked for the price. The staff is usually friendly and helpful as much as they can be. The linens were nice, too, but at bonneville hot springs you get pretty good coffee service in the hotel room, unlimited soaking time and the rooms are just as nice for a lower price. The location is better for me at society but that’s a
