The Shores of Fox Lake

We had a reservation for 5:30 on a Friday for all you can eat fish fry. We did come in about two minutes late but the dining area was almost empty and we were seated pretty quickly. Our server was very kind and prompt when taking our drink and dinner orders, however after an hour of being there our food still was not out. When it did arrive it was very good and we enjoyed our meal. At this point our server was busy with other tables and didn’t check back with us for quite awhile. One person wanted more fish, so we placed that order as soon as we could and ordered desserts. As he was eating his last fish another individual brought out our desserts. This was 7:18 and she informed us that we’d need to finish quickly as they had another party coming in at 7:30 and needed our table. We didn’t e

This stay in Cabin 1 was our 2nd at The Shores of Fox Lake. Our previous stay was in July of 2024 in Cabin 5. The cottages were very clean, well-equipped, comfortable, and homey. Appliances and furniture were relatively new. Rental includes access to the property-owned boat ramp and docks. Fox lake is an awesome lake for fishing, boating, and water sports. Both years we were there during the local festival when The shores hosted a live band. The bands were excellent and ;the atmosphere was festive. There is a nice public pool in Fox Lake, golf courses, shops, and restaurants in the Fox Lake/Beaver Dam area. It's a great place for winter activities as well.

1st time visit & let me start by thanking the team @ The Shores of Fox Lake for honoring veterans. We had an absolute fantastic time & our meal was scrumptious from beginning to end. We will be back again soon & can't wait to try something else on your menu.

Love this restaurant! I live in Florida, and am ALWAYS talking about this place. I was so happy to have a chance to come back again while visiting family.

If you like tenderloin, this is the place to go, with a side of a couple shrimp. I was surprised of the prices going up. A little more than I expected, but the food was amazing.
