The Sawmill Inn

This was a pleasant surprise. We wanted to stay closer to Houston instead of driving to LaCrosse at night. This is a basic, very clean, motel. Lots of little things that make the experience nice; plush towels, Keurig in the lobby area. It is nice to see a small locally owned place! We have pet allergies so we were a little nervous about staying here. They do such a thorough cleaning job between guests. We'd stay here again.

My in-laws reserved a room for us. I hadn't looked at the website, because of that, I kept my expectations low. This was VERY clean. Things have been updated and look great. The shower was nice, no hugging shower curtain. There were no mystery smells on property. I felt safe and secure during my stay. I did like the self check in. The lobby was cute. There was pottery being sold. We bought a flower pot. Super cute. Thank you for a great sleep.

Awesome! I stayed her 5 nights last week. So easy...checked in over my phone, got a door code and done! Didn't need to hassle with anyone at the front desk. Super clean and quiet. Very comfy bed. My wife came down for the last two nights and we made a little vacation out of it. She loved the Jacuzzi! Also, I drive an electric car and I could plug right in and charge overnight! And I love that they are doing their part by using Solar! Highly recommend!

Very clean space located a short distance from the Root River Bike Trail. We rented an apartment, so had plenty of space. Highly recommend.

Would definitely stay here again! This Inn is like an airbnb, keyless entry (no keeping track of a room key), a serve yourself supply room for extra supplies. Our room was spotless, quite, & coffee in the lobby & comfy.
