The Rover Miami

Just wanted to begin this review with some perspective, I have worked in the Hospitality Industry for the past 25+ Years, working for multiple companies across a few countries. This weekend i had the opportunity to stay at The Rover Miami, it was an excellent stay. The facility was very well kept, the service was 5 stars, and the sense of place was very nostalgic. I would definitely stay again and will certainly recommend to friends. # WellDoneTheRoverMiamiTeam

A beautiful modern hotel in Little Havana with a fully self-service experience. The interiors are impressive, though the rooms are very small. Finding street parking is possible though they are not well lit at night. However, the location is great for exploring Little Havana.

We stayed 3 nights at The Rover and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in being within walking distance to Little Havana. The staff were amazing, super accommodating and responsive. The room (we were upgraded to one of the suites - ¡gracias!) was fantastic - such attention to design and detail - and we could not have been more impressed. The included breakfast was perfect, and the rate was super reasonable. 10/10!!

Before you book, try calling their phone number or request a text response. If you were satisfied with their response, go for it! We never got calls back or responses to questions. Room was so beautiful as was the rest of the hotel, but you should k ow it is next to a dance club that stays open until 5am and so it’d you are not going to party hard all night, may not be the best for you. Check the hours Mofongo will be open to better k ow when you can go to bed.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I have to in this case. We stayed here on our wedding night and it was impossible to contact anyone when we had trouble getting in. There is no concierge, and instead there is only a number you call that leads to a voice bot which eventually leads to a dial tone that ends with no one answering. So not only is it impossible to get help if anything goes wrong, but we had a lot of issues in the room. The TV was cracked with a huge line in the middle, the toilet was clogged and we couldn’t find a plunger, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone, and the main common area has a coffee maker which we wanted to use but it was out of water and there’s no sink to fill it up at besides taking it all the way to your room’s bathroom which we didn’t do lol.
