The Riverside Hotel

My stay at The Riverside Hotel was genuinely enjoyable. The property has a classic, old-school charm that comes from being well established, yet it’s clear that care is taken to maintain the details. The lobby and common areas are clean, welcoming, and full of character.||My room was spacious, spotless, and offered a beautiful river view. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and while the bathroom was clearly on the older side, it was well maintained and very clean.||The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the front desk team made sure everything went smoothly. The location is another strong point, with easy walking access to nearby restaurants and attractions.||The on-site restaurant and bar were both solid,

Booked a one night stay in their junior suite with a balcony overlooking the Boise River. I do not have a single complaint only that I wish I could have stayed longer. PROS: Walkable to Bardenay and Stagecoach Inn or you can stay in and dine at their restaurants. I'm looking forward to the Sandbar being open in the Summer. Indoor and outdoor heated saltwater pool! It was absolutely stunning during a cold winter's night. Spacious rooms with clean and higher end quality bedding and towels. Quick access to the greenbelt and walkable to Quinns Pond, Esther Simplot Park, and the Boise Whitewater Park. Hop skip and jump to Push and Pour for morning coffee or Talaya Wine Co for a glass of wine. The staff was also very kind and welcoming. 5 Stars! Highly recommend.

Positive: Staff was great. Pool, sauna and hot tub are great. Rooms are large, old school type rooms from an era of the past. Negative: The hotel rooms and building are dated. On one hand I like the old school model but rooms and common area have a dated smell and look.

One of the worst hotels I’ve been to. Nothing good about it. 1. First impression: looks like and old apartment complex. They have 5 buildings that look like they are connected but there was construction going on which I didn’t see or hear actually, there was only notice on the door so there was no indoor connection and you have to go outside to go to the lobby area or to indoor pool. 2. Terrible service all around. Even small things like asking for a toothbrush. It was first time in my life when hotel staff didn’t send the toothbrush to your room, we had to actually go outside again to pick it up at the lobby. 3. Shower in bathroom sucked. It literally took me around 10 minutes to adjust water temperature. 4. Room: everything is just dated, every detail. Coffee maker broken. 5. Breakfast.

Riverside hotel gets 🎩🎩🎩 out of 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩. The room is nice, though a little dated. The walls are not very sound proof because every door in on the floor could be heard shutting. Some soft close doors would do well. Could also hear every in the halls from the bed. Especially the dad and his kids screaming and yelling and running up and down the halls at 11pm. And the bed. . . 🎩 out of 🎩🎩🎩🎩🎩. I give it 1 simply because the sheets were soft. The bed was solid as aged and plywood. The ottoman next to the 7' desk was 10x softer. At check in though we got some pretty dang good chocolate chip cookies. Those were a nice treat. And the staff seem pretty friendly. And the room was nice and clean.
