The Rivers Edge Executive Suites

We stayed here with our daughters and had plenty of room to move around and not be right on top of each other. It was so much better than a hotel. And the location? The house is right on the river and our mornings could not have been any more relaxing anywhere else. Marty was an amazing host. We will definitely be staying here again!

If there would be rating system that would allow me to rate the hotel with negative stars, I would strongly consider giving this Hotel the worst rating possible. We visited our son in Tiffin for his graduation and booked the Executive Suite for 3 nights, upon arrival the room looked vintage and cozy, but after coming back from dinner we found that only the preliminary visible spots in the room were cleaned. Dirty carpets, dust behind every counter and dresser, bugs and caterpillars in the corners were only the beginning. The ceiling fan was covered in dust and we were scared to turn it on and spreading the dust all over the room. Every window was sealed shut with plastic, which not only acts as a fire hazard but also didn’t allow us to get some fresh air in our room. ||||The bathtub was po

Mary Lee and Marty took great care of us. We had a wonderful time at "The River's Edge", not just a name but also a reality. Stepping into the 1800's grist mill brought you back to the days of a slow and relaxed pace. Our suite was so beautiful and warm. We could see a part of the river, had a lovely tree at the large picture window. The decoration throughout was so delightful and inviting.||||Friday when we arrived, our hosts showed us around and made sure we were settled in nicely. That night we relaxed with wine on the back veranda looking up at the star filled night, listening to the rush of the river, as a cool breeze gently blew. My girlfriend, step daughter, her brother and sister in law and I stayed at the Rivers Edge while visiting to attend a wedding. The host Marty was very charming and couldn't do enough for us. We rented both rooms, one a 1000 sq ft 1 bedroom and the other a 1200 sq ft 2 bedroom unit. Very spacious, and the grounds along the rivers edge are magnificent. We ate breakfast outside on the deck and the patio, and just chilled.||The place was decorated with love by Marty and his wife with love. Lie in the hammock, watch the eagles and egrets and soak in the atmosphere. It doesn't get better than this.

Beautiful location. Marty was very friendly. Breakfast was a treat! We would stay again. There are a lot of videos to play, but the TV in the two bedroom is a bit small and should probably be updated. Otherwise served a nice change from hotel rooms.
