The River's Edge Campground

This campground is much larger than available information would suggest. People are largely welcoming. Some cliques exist though. The pool wasn’t open as a new deck was being built. The 10+ person hot tub was busy most if the day. Many if the full time residents were the most welcoming. Absent the pool, there was no central gathering spot. Though it’s not even spring, events were scares. No open dining or grill options, and zero alcohol sales on site. On a scale of 1 to 10, we rate this resort a 6.5 on scale of 1 to 10.

A fun, and well-maintained, LGBT owned and operated campground. We stayed in the newest section with full hookups. Amenities are very well maintained and the patrons are very friendly. We'll be back!

This is one of my fav 🏳️‍🌈campgrounds. I have been here twice now. The residents are wonderful. The property is immense. The individual neighborhoods are cute. The night time lighting and the clever things people have done with their permanent site are fun to walk around and enjoy. 🥳Everyone will say hi.🙋🏻‍♂️ I've been to eight others , but this is the most beautiful property with the most unique individual landscaping.🤩 You could spend almost 2 hours just walking around this property once. The tent camping⛺ areas and trails are immense. It has the best rustic campsites⛺ and cabins of anywhere I've been,🤩 right on the river! Been a member since the first years and always been one of my favorite places. The growth and improvements over the years only elevated this happy place. Can chill amd read a book in solitude or be social and wild. Always a great bunch of visitors and permanent site folks, always friendly.

Had my first visit here for trans weekend, and it was absolutely stellar. Cannot recommend this place enough! Facilities were clean, landscaping was beautiful, staff was so friendly and accommodating. Campsites were nicely spaced and well established. Good balance of convenience and nature, saw some awesome mushrooms pop up after the rain! The community feeling can't be overstated, I felt so welcomed and comfortable. Definitely going to be coming back many times in the future!
