The Riverhouse

Spent my birthday at the Riverhouse and had a wonderful stay. From the moment we entered the driveway, we were blown away at just how beautiful the property is. It has a private resort feel & the views are breathtaking. Within minutes of arriving, we were greeted by dolphins playing in the water right out front and pelicans soaring overhead. There were so many fun things to do like kayaking, watching the boats go by (including a Carnival Cruise ship), listening to music at the nearby restaurants, taking the a ferry over to the Jax beach area or driving to other nearby areas like Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach or St. Augustine. Many memories were made. I highly recommend this location for any type of celebration.

Our stay at The Riverhouse was Ahhmazing! It had everything we wanted (beautiful accommodations, a gorgeous waterfront & a great location) plus so much more (kayaks, rides on the ferry & fun restaurants within walking distance). Mornings started sipping coffee on the porch watching the boats go by, days were spent exploring close by attractions (Amelia Island, Ferdinanda Beach, St. Augustine & Jax Beach) & nights were spent by the waterfront bonfire. We slept great, ate delicious food & just felt overall relaxed and refreshed when we left.

If you need a place to stay or wanting a weekend getaway, The River House offers a unique experience. This property is new, clean and roomy. Ideal for couples and families alike. You won’t be disappointed!

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the River House as a family. The location is perfect just a short drive to AMAZING dining in Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, our favorite restaurant was Marche Burette. in addition, there are two restaurants right next door to the house that were good as well, especially the BBQ restaurant. The house is stocked with plenty of fun games, an arcade Pac Man, and table shuffleboard. The boys enjoyed fishing and there are kayaks too. We also enjoyed exploring the area and found Kingsley Plantation and Little Talbot Island only a short distance away. The birding was abundant so if you enjoy the beach, hiking, history and nature this is the place for you.

Absolutely one of the best experiences my family and I have ever had for a getaway. What has been delivered is a first class destination with incredible amenities with tremendous detail. Everything has been thought of and provided. You can literally check your stress at the door and walk into a paradise both inside and out. Cannot recommend highly enough For families, corporate get aways, special occasions, and events. Well done.!
