The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

Our Christmas stay at the Ritz-Carlton was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by so many staff members, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.||The holiday touches were exceptional. We were greeted with welcome champagne, enjoyed free bellinis and mimosas for two hours one day, and were constantly surprised with thoughtful details — free Christmas cookies, beautiful Christmas chocolates delivered to our door on Christmas morning, and even personalized letters from Santa hand-delivered under the door with treats hanging on the handle. First time staying at the Sarasota Ritz and I was thoroughly impressed. We were greeted by outstanding staff, who provided us with complimentary water and mimosas. The room had an excellent view of the water. I love the fact that there are water bottles all over the room and the front desk was always willing to provide more than enough during the stay. The conference room we were in was great with sound and lighting (although a little cold, but when are conference rooms not cold..lol). The food at the onsite restaurant was EXCELLENT and so convenient for the lunch break. The staff got us seated quickly and we also received our food quickly, so we weren't rushed to get back. Phenomenal experience! I cannot underscore enough how exquisite the hotel experience and staff were. My family stayed for a couple of days and I already miss our experience. We went to celebrate my parents renewing their wedding vows, and the staff brought up some complementary champagne, a note, and some chocolates. How many other hotels do that? Special shoutout to Kimberly at Ridley's Market. That woman is so vivacious and lovely, she's an invaluable asset to The Ritz Sarasota. Will be coming back again!

The Ritz in Sarasota delivers the expected five star Ritz experience- the staff is extraordinary, and the rooms are luxurious, clean and well appointed. The location just before the bridge to the beach should be noted but the shuttles are efficient and it is definitely worth the trip to the Beach Club 3 miles away. Plus we found the location within .5 mile walking distance to Main St and the Saturday Farmer’s Market and 1 mile to the Botanical Gardens an alternate bonus. We ate on property at Jack Dusty and the brown bread alone is worth the meal (but the scallops and salads were delicious too - we added grilled shrimp which were plump and juicy). Really enjoyed the spa. Valet was complimentary for visiting it and the gentlemen were very friendly. Spa attendant Gloria was sweet and helpful. Spa was clean and run professionally. Two great services by Susan (facial) and Christina (nourish glow massage). Christina’s massage was exactly how I requested it. Enjoyed having coffee on the spa terrace and lunch at their outdoor restaurant overlooking the water.
