We decided to stay the night to celebrate our 31st anniversary. It’s a major step down from last year when we stayed at the over water bungalow at Sandel’s South Coast. Even though it was $400 less a night (Still over $600, not all inclusive, no butler service.), I’ll have to say I was disappointed at the cleanliness of the room and the overall up keep of the Executive Suite. Threadbare furniture, dirty window sills, and furniture with various scratches and dents on the wood furniture. Also, lighting didn’t work on one side of the bed, and over head lamps were crooked. Not sure if this was due to pets being welcomed or not. The service has been excellent but the room quality has drug down the overall rating. They provided the spa and romance package requested with an early Check in.
The Ritz-Carlton Denver delivers the exceptional service and polish the brand is known for. The staff are consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, with a level of care and attention to detail that made the stay feel special. The rooms are elegant, quiet, and generously sized, offering thoughtful luxuries such as Diptyque toiletries and a deep tub. The overall atmosphere within the hotel is calm and refined, well suited for business travelers or those seeking a tranquil retreat. The lobby is stark and modern, intentionally minimalist, and the on-site dining option, a sports bar, is well staffed but limited in scope. The surrounding neighborhood lacks energy and visual interest, situated in a municipal district with few nearby attractions or nightlife. While this is no fault of t
The evening I arrived at the Ritz Carlton - Denver, I knew that it was going to be quite the experience I was looking forward to for my Birthday. After a small delay at guest check-in, I made my way to my fabulous room and with much of my delight, welcomed a fine wine of the hotel's brand and fancy charcuterie board. The rest of the trip was fantastic. Nice restaurant next to a picturisque lobby where I enjoyed more photos and friendships to celebrate the occassion.|P.S., I have never-ever slept in a hotel bed as comfortable as RC, Denver. Hope they keep up the quality and everybody else should copy.
Throughly enjoyed our stay for 3 evenings at The Ritz Carlton Denver while visiting friends that live nearby. The hotel room was large and super comfortable, with the very best bed/bedding. The room was well appointed with everything we needed, including a nice mimi bar with a Nespresso machine. Having a gym was nice as it was very cold outside. They offer a small lobby coffee bar with pastries for breakfast for quick or on the run mornings, if you don't want the full-serve restaurant or room service, this was resonably priced, and we enjoyed this service and the coffee was great. Just a good overall stay! Hope we will be back again one day.
The hotel itself is pretty nice and the staff is good but the hotel policies are what I would expect from a budget hotel, not a five star hotel. They nickel and dime you every chance they get: * Parking is not included and is pretty expensive * Same for internet * Same for spa facilities (whirlpool and steam room) * They don’t let you use the gym after checkout All of this ends up adding up so things that are included in lots of hotel fees, end up making the stay much more expensive. At a five star hotel I would expect to just pay the fee and be able to enjoy the amenities (like you can at the Four Seasons nearby). Pros: * Nice rooms * Food was good * Spa is actually pretty nice
