The Ridgewood House

We had the best Easter weekend at The Ridgewood House! Our family of 4 stayed in the cottage, and my mom stayed in the main house. The location is perfect, right across the street from the ocean and boardwalk. The cottage was a perfect size for our family of 4. Love the screened in porch for morning coffee. The cottage was spotless, the kitchen had everything you need if you are in the mood to cook. The new shower was great, loved that you can change the light modes. The pull out sofa was very comfortable! Love getting up early and walking across the street to the ocean to watch the sunrise. Highly recommend this beautiful B&B!

We stayed we our grandchildren in Ridgewood House's 4-bedroom suite in April 2024. The common areas were exceptionally clean, the house was convenient for beach access, had beautiful ocean views, comfortable furnishings and beds with crisp white linens. The kitchen, while small, was well equipped and just right for preparing breakfast and snacks. The owners were very responsive and pleasant and we would be be happy to return.

My family stayed at this property for 3 days to visit the beach. For that purpose it's pretty great. 1 block away and about 5 minutes of walking straight to the water! They provided us with beach passes so that we didn't have to pay. It has an outdoor shower in the back to rinse off (which we missed on the 1st day) so you don't track sand into the room. The fully stocked kitchen was great for making a quick meal without having to go out.||||The biggest downside is that it feels a bit run down. e.g. stains on the wallpaper. The building is over 100 years old so there's only so much you can do but there's definitely a mismatch between the fully renovated bathroom (which was super nice) and the rest of the room.

The cutest bed and breakfast, with the most perfect view. The owner is super easy to work with! Would definitely visit again.
