Customer Reviews
My daughter and I stayed there the weekend of Oct 23rd. She begged me to stay there because as a 19 year old, she loves the Retro vibe and the 50's. The room was nice and clean, the decor was awesome. The mattresses in our room was so comfortable along with the pillows. Felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. They had a great looking breakfast with a lot to offer. Didn't eat the breakfast as my daughter has Celeiac but we saw people come back for seconds. The staff was so nice and treated you like family. Yeah the place is a little tricky to get in and out of but it is on the strip. Overall, for the price, it is a great place to stay and we will definitely be making it our go to place each time we come to Branson.
First it is a motel not a hotel. The doors are on the outside of the building. If you like being close to everything on the strip this is the perfect location, but it is just a little difficult to get into and out of. The front desk people were very nice. The hotel is a old motel that they have updating. We did not go into the pool but it looks very clean and refreshing. The outside was okay. It was clean but could still use some updates. The rooms themselves were very clean. The decor was somewhat retro but sub par. The beds however were HORRIBLE. My husband said he thinks the matresses were retro as well. They caved in the middle really bad and was way too soft and springy. If someone moved a little you both moved. We did not get a good nights sleep at all. Breakfast was supposed to b
Literally just a motel 6 with a lava lamp. Cheap furnishings, all the veneer on the furniture was coming off. I couldn’t bring myself to shower in the room because it felt like a hospital bathroom. The front desk staff was very friendly though. And when they said they serve breakfast in the morning, I wasn’t expecting a rolling cart of heated up food served in the 4x4 foot lobby. They charge way too much for what you get. I would have gladly spent twice the nightly rate and got a nice hotel. The only upside is that it was quiet, and that’s because there were only 3 other people staying there that weekend, one of Brandon’s busiest weekends. That should tell you all you need to know
The hotel rooms are decorated retro themed with a lava lamp. The staff was friendly. It’s affordable and has clean rooms. Definitely recommend giving them a shot! We had a great stay, only recommendation would be a fire pit or a heater by the pool area during the chillier months.
Noisy...walls are thin...room was ok, nothing great. Was told a hot breakfast, but no hot breakfast.. I would consider a different hotel but the location is okay.. the Retro is not a Hotel it's a Motel. you do not enter the rooms from the inside, you enter from the outside. Sheer curtains were stained
