The Restful Ewe Bed and Breakfast

I've been cautious about bed and breakfasts, though I love the concept, because it's hard to know in advance if the host will be truly welcoming, versus only welcoming to certain kinds of people. Well, Nancy was 1000% welcoming. Our brief stay was everything I'd want a BnB experience to be. There are beautiful common areas, including a peaceful porch and serene garden room, and I woke up to the sun streaming in through the windows of the Swan Room and the smell of freshly baked pastries. I'm very impressed by Nancy's hospitality skills. She had a keen sense for when we wanted to chat and when we wanted to withdraw. She's also a professional-level baker (I would go back just for her pastries), flower arranger, gardener, interior designer, housekeeper, and textile/craft artist?? It seems she

We just loved our stay at The Restful Ewe. Nancy and Dave have created a beautiful and peaceful oasis away from everything, yet very accessible to the lakes and surrounding areas. They welcomed us each morning with fresh made breakfast, and we even got a tour of the grounds. The sheep were adorable! We’ll definitely stay again when in the Finger Lakes.

Delightful place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nancy was so kind and attentive. We felt very pampered by beautifully prepared breakfast with a wide variety of baked goods and fresh fruits, afternoon/evening snacks, and fresh towels every day. The room and the inn were very comfortable and relaxing, I slept extremely well for the first time in weeks! The location was ideal with only a 20-minute, easy drive to Cornell, and there were parks and wineries nearby. I highly recommend the inn!!!!

Highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Nancy and Dave couldn't have been more helpful, welcoming, and delightful. The location is really peaceful. The rooms were comfortable and clean as can be. The freshly-made breakfast scones and muffins along with the fruit, yogurt, and granola offered were outstanding. There also is a great porch that is perfect for some reading and relaxing. It was a pleasure to be able to walk through the property to see the sheep and cows that are kept there as well. My family and I will definitely be returning in the future!
